Mark V. Beran is a seasoned healthcare executive with a proven track record of leading organizations through strategic transformation, accelerating growth, and initiating successful M&A initiatives. With over 25 years of experience across public companies, private firms, and private equity-backed organizations, Mark brings deep expertise in general management, commercial leadership, business development, and marketing innovation.

He currently serves as the CEO of Healthcare Strategies Consulting, a boutique consulting firm specializing in strategic growth, business development, and mergers & acquisitions within the healthcare sector. Mark has led numerous successful engagements, helping clients identify market gaps, forge strategic partnerships, and close high-impact transactions.

Previously, Mark held executive leadership roles including Chief Marketing Officer at Encompass Group, where he reinvigorated growth after years of stagnation, launched IP-protected innovations in the patient warming space, and directed the company's M&A roadmap. As Chief Commercial Officer at TIDI Products, he drove a 57% revenue increase and nearly doubled EBITDA through a blend of acquisition strategy, margin expansion, and operational streamlining.

His leadership has consistently delivered measurable outcomes, including launching new product families, filing over a dozen patents, building high-performing teams, and executing exits to leading private equity and strategic buyers, including Stryker.

Earlier in his career, Mark held key positions at Gaymar Industries, Posey Company, and Cincinnati Sub-Zero Products, where he led turnarounds, drove international market penetration, and repositioned brands for category leadership.

Mark began his career with Smiths Medical, where he led global product and market strategy, including a Japan-focused reimbursement plan that propelled the company to dominance in the temperature monitoring market.

Mark earned his MBA summa cum laude from Babson College and a BS in Marketing cum laude from Chapman University.
